Alphonso Lovelace Jr, professionally known as ”Fonz”, “the drummer”, ”the beast”, ” cymbal fusion guy”. Fonz is an American music producer, music director, song-writer and musician at Lace productions based in Houston, Texas and Västerås, Sweden.

Fonz has produced and featured numerous of Award winning artists around the world, such as the Swedish pop duo Norlie & KKV, Sinach- an Nigerian gospelartist known for the award winning song “Way Maker”, Jonathan McReynold’s- a grammy-winning American gospel musician, Joanita Zacharisheen- the Ugandan/Danish Afro- popartist winner of DR Live Danish singing competition 2018, The Mamas- a Swedish-American soul and gospel group who won Melodifestivalen 2020. Tensta Gospel Choir, Stockholm Sweden and many more. Fonz has also played and toured with various of artists such as Levi Little from Black Street, Eric Bibb, Men of Soul, Blue October, Uche Agu, Sinach, TJ Austin, Tori, Dee Jones.

Alphonso Lovelace Jr started his career as an young boy in Virginia, US, which later on moved to Houston to pursue his dream- music. He competed as an finalist at the World’s biggest drum competition the Drum Off, 2012. Fonz has developed to be an creative and skilful musician with over 20 years of experience in the music business.
